WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?

The first appointment includes a thorough health history intake, pulse and tongue assessment, description of the treatment plan and an initial acupuncture treatment. Any specific issues, questions, or concerns relating to the treatment plan and goals are encouraged to be addressed at this time. Please be sure to wear loose-fitting clothing and avoid wearing excessive or tight jewelry for your appointment. It is advised to have a small meal or light snack prior to having a treatment for those who have trouble managing sugar levels.

HOW LONG IS AN APPOINTMENT?

An initial appointment may last up to an hour and a half with follow-up appointments lasting about an hour in time.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE? DO YOU OFFER PACKAGE PLANS?

I do not accept insurance plans in my practice model. I do this to allow for more personalized, direct, and supportive care. This allows me more flexibility to work with individuals and their immediate concerns. I do offer package plans and sliding scale fees for anyone looking to receive in depth care and commit to a treatment course. Please message me directly with questions about my package plans and sliding scale. I am happy to work out a payment option that matches your budget and treatment needs.

*Sliding Scale does not apply to the cost of Herbal Medicine.
